Pode mesmo criar um padrão/friso, arrastando o carimbo pelo plano. Trata-se de uma versão para a internet de parte de um DVD, realizado pelo Atractor, que dá uma ideia para não especialistas, de como a teoria dos "orbifolds" (W. Thurston) pode ser usada para concluir que só há 17 tipos de padrões e 7 tipos de frisos, diferentes do ponto de vista da simetria.
