"Bridges to Horizons"

There is a story about this sculpture in the Mathematical section of these pages.

My own idea about this sculpture runs as follows:-

The Möbius strip was by now a well loved friend. ETERNITY was a solid stable form. I wanted to create something fluid and spacious around a triangle. It was to symbolise the JOURNEY through life which we all make, and which is so full of opportunities. I see the central space in this sculpture as the triangle of ETERNITY, but the sides have been shot off into `space', to form `bridges to horizons'. Already the `horizons' have expanded to the moon. I am sure Man's Destiny includes `space'.
